The challenge

Stocktools, Morningstar's stock screening software for the institutional market, a new product, needed a distinctive identity. However, the brand needed to share some of the approach of the Principia brand.

The Stocktools brand builds on the equity of Morningstar's institutional product line, yet provides a distinctive identity through playful use of illustrative imagery.
