Product branding, packaging and User Guide design for mutual-fund screening software.

The challenge

Morningstar Ascent was the company's first significant attempt to reach an audience of individual investors with a mutual-fund screening software product. They wanted the brand to reflect the expectations of a retail marketplace.

 

The solution

Dominant use of photography, a departure for the Morningstar brand, was used throughout all packaging components and marketing collateral. The corporate logo is incorporated into the product name.
