A visual redesign of a corporate intranet for a Fortune 500 financial institution.

The solution

Due to time constraints, the typical user research and information architecture phases were replaced by a rapid heuristic assesment of the surrent state. This yielded a straightforward universal organization scheme.

 

 

The interface makes a clear distinction between 'Search' and 'Region' controls and the main content areas. Redundant nomenclature is eliminated and replaced with a stronger 'eSource' branding on the Home page.
